GigCV is a data sharing agreement which facilitates gig economy platforms to let their workers download their working history into a PDF resume, which they can use as proof of their working history. GigCV is a nonprofit organization and was designed in collaboration with several gig platforms. It contains an API and legal documentation to make it easy for platforms to implement such service, without storing data. At this moment 4 platforms (Charly Cares, Roamler, Tunga and YoungOnes) are using GigCV, facilitating over 100.000 workers in 6 countries with their data. Till date, over 35.000 cvs have been downloaded.

The GigCV project facilitates with several tools:

1. An API for platforms to facilitate accessible data sharing for their users.
2. A clear user flow for users where they can change the language of the CV (ENG/FR/GER/NL) and where they can make a selection from the written reviews sent by the platform.
3. A verification tool that allows recipients of a GigCV document (PDF), such as potential clients or employers, to check whether the document they have received from a worker is an original document issued by GigCV. This contributes to the reliability of the CV.
